The Serengeti National Park is a national park of great proportions (13.000 km²) en Tanzania, Africa.

The big five animals in the park, so named by hunters for years are the lion, el leopardo, el elefante, rhino and Cape buffalo. The park is also home to hyenas, Cheetahs, Zebras, raptors and many other species.

Near the park is the Olduvai Gorge, where they found many hominid fossils and artifacts. The park is bordered by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, large part of the Serengeti ecosystem.
